Sightseeing

For registered congress participants a diverse offer of cultural activities is available free of charge.

• The exhibition „The first and most distinguished of rights is to give laws. About the 18th century legislation in the Habsburg hereditary countries” takes place in the University Museum (Main university building, Universitätsplatz 3, basement, see signs.)

• The exhibitions „On the way to a unified state: Documents and pictures of the long 18th Century in the Styrian Regional Archives“ and „Norm and Reality“ take place in the Styrian Regional Archives (Karmeliterplatz 3, ca. 15-20 minutes’ walk from the congress building).

• The Hanns Schell Collection, see special information/invitation in the congress information package.

• The departments of the Universal Museum Joanneum, see the folders in the congress information package.

• The City Tours (free of charge) take place on Tuesday 26th and Thursday 28th of July. Meeting point is the main entrance of the congress building (Universitätsstrasse 15) at 09:15. The tours take about 2,5 hours and will be presented in English and French.
